how to make money as a kid or teenager

alright I'm with Zane Hill and Zane is 16 years old and he started his mowing company with $0 he's gonna share how we got that going saying how you doing today bye good how are you thank you for having me on here hey thank you for coming on the air appreciate it I absolutely love this turkey tell us how you got started zing all right so this was summer 2016 I'm getting the summer I had a job and they're gone wanted searches and search and search jobs for young kids that don't have licenses and stuff so I was going to work at chick-fil-a but I decided not to kiss because it was so much work to get there and back there back every day never pass in my life actually never oh never even Milan Yard and my dad was like go cut the grass so I cut the grass and it was kind of fun and I liked what I did and he could see that final result that was where it got all all started so you were 15 when you started cutting grass for the first yes sir you're 16 now yes sir I turned 16 over the summer and you have your own company call the young man and his more yes sir how'd you get started how'd you get a mower alright luckily my kid my parents out they had to Morris my dad had one that was really old winded up having to spend about $20 on a spark plug and an air filter and maybe some gas lines along the way and we got it running very well ran very well we created a trailer out of a child's carrier child bike carrier and I love that started the business okay I love your ingenuity with this thing you took a child's carrier and modified it and turned it into a lawn mowing trailer that you pull behind your bike and that is how you get around to date yes sir absolutely love this story and I'm sure with you Zane and everybody watching another story how you can get a more you happen to have a 12 year old lower your dad had you're able to fix it up that's how you got necessary here's another way if you don't have a lawn mower in the family that you can fix up and grab from somebody you go to a neighbor's house and you tell the neighbor I will make a deal with you if you give me your mower I will mow your lawn for free for the entire summer maybe you got to make it two summers right yeah and the neighbors are gonna probably at first go what the heck is this kid doing and basically what you tell them is I want to be able to keep them more when I'm done after one or two seasons but then you use that same mower and you go out and mow other people's lawns with that mower to start your business then we know now it's not working yeah we're pretty good it costs you nothing to get the mower yeah it gives whoever you're more the longed-for they get out of doing all the labor for one or two seasons yeah and now you're in business oh yeah it's as simple as that doesn't matter if you do a mowing you're doing snow blowing snow plowing whatever you're doing you guys start thinking outside the box that's what you did with your with your bike trailer I absolutely love it same you know and you are a sophomore now yes sir you know high school so how is mom going for you I got two around fifteen twelve fifteen yards a week I do yard work on the weekends like some pine straw stuff and little trimming sure or not trees but helping people turn their trees I guess I would really touch anything I just moved to would every back and forth back and forth how did you get 15 to 20 yards I went or 12 to 15 okay how do you go with door to door I sent a wire went door-to-door I think I knocked on 300 or 400 houses you not got three to four hundred dollars so you yourself knocked on the door yes sir okay Zain keep mindset do you have any any words of wisdom for the guys and gals kids all watching there right now um if you can't do it get somebody else that can motivate you or just think about the long run what's gonna happen someday you're gonna have a business support growing business it all starts one little pebble at a time so what is your what did you long-term plan since now you you seem to be a visionary thinker and you're approaching this like a marathon sprint okay I get my license and uh four or five days but I'm not gonna it's gonna take me a while to get a vehicle but I just bought my first real purchase it was a red max 7500 for a leaf stuff because we had some old beat-up mower or blower oh the next thing I'm going to do is probably buy a walk behind of some sort and then a couple of weed eaters has shown us stuff like that and then the big thing will be the trailer eyes ain't the fact that you are reinvesting whatever you're making back into the business to grow and expand yeah yeah it makes a bunch of big purchases it's gonna be pretty nice I love your ambition I absolutely love your motivation and I want to thank you for sharing well you got your business a young man and is more launched with next to zero dollars yes sir thank you thank you they appreciated by
