Proper Harvesting Technique

What happens here

To harvest Chanterelle mushrooms correctly, use a small knife (like the one found in a multi-tool) to cut the mushroom stem near the base, just above the mycelium in the ground. Do not pull the mushroom out of the ground, as this can damage the underground fungal network (mycelium) and prevent future growth in that spot.

Goal: Harvest mushrooms without damaging the mycelium to ensure future growth.
