How to fix a Power tool Battery that Won't take charge
What happens here
Place the 'dead' Milwaukee M18 battery next to a fully charged Milwaukee M18 battery. Using the custom-made jumper wires, connect the corresponding terminals of the two batteries, starting from the negative (ground) side and working towards the positive side. Insert a spade connector from one jumper wire into a terminal slot of the 'dead' battery, and the other end into the corresponding terminal slot of the 'good' battery. Repeat this for all terminals except the outermost positive one. For the final positive terminal, expect a small spark when connecting; hold this connection for approximately 10 seconds. This process allows current from the good battery to 'wake up' the protection circuit in the 'dead' battery.
Goal: Transfer charge from a good battery to a dead battery to reactivate its charging circuit.
