How To Fix A Bent Corner On A Wall. DIY DRYWALL REPAIRS.

What happens here

Prepare the 'hot mud' by pouring the powdered Sheetrock Easy Sand 5 Patching Compound into a mud pan. Gradually add water, mixing it thoroughly with a 3-inch or 4-inch knife. Continue mixing until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved, similar to peanut butter. If the mixture becomes too wet or runny, add a small amount of additional dry powder to thicken it up.

Goal: Prepare fast-setting drywall compound to the correct consistency

Tools and materials

  • 3-inch or 4-inch Knife — Mixing the compound and applying it
  • Mixing Bucket — Holding water for mixing
  • Mud Pan — Holding and mixing the drywall compound
  • Water N/A — Mixing with the drywall compound
