How to clean your wood fence FAST and easy! #easy #fences #mrclean
What happens here
Before pressure washing the entire fence, it is crucial to test your pressure washer settings and cleaning technique on a small, inconspicuous section. Choose an area that is not easily visible, such as a lower board or a section hidden by landscaping. Start with the pressure washer on the lowest possible pressure setting and ensure you are using the widest fan nozzle available. Hold the wand approximately 1 to 2 feet away from the wood surface. Gradually decrease the distance or slightly increase the pressure until you find an effective cleaning level that successfully removes dirt without causing any damage, splintering, or fuzzing of the wood. Carefully observe how the wood reacts to the spray.
Goal: Determine the optimal pressure and distance for cleaning without damaging the fence.
