What happens here
Once you have identified the optimal pressure and distance from your testing phase, begin systematically pressure washing the entire fence. Work in manageable sections, typically 2 to 3 feet wide at a time. Maintain the consistent distance (usually 1 to 2 feet) and an angle of approximately 45 degrees relative to the fence surface. Use smooth, even, and overlapping passes. You can either move horizontally across the boards or vertically from top to bottom, ensuring each stroke slightly overlaps the previous one to prevent streaks and missed spots. Maintain a steady and consistent pace across the fence to achieve an even clean. If you are using a wood cleaner or detergent, apply it according to the product's specific instructions, often by spraying it on first, allowing it to dwell for a recommended time, and then rinsing it off with the pressure washer.
Goal: Thoroughly clean the entire wooden fence.
