Power Wash and Etch the Walkway

How to Clean & Etch Concrete. Preparing concrete for stains.
What happens here
Utilize the 3000 PSI pressure washer equipped with the stripping/etching nozzle to clean and etch the concrete walkway. When operating the pressure washer, hold the nozzle close enough to the concrete surface so you can clearly observe the old stain stripping away and the surface being cleaned. Make sure to overlap your passes sufficiently and move slowly. If you move too quickly or do not overlap properly, dirt and remnants of the old stain will be left behind, which will show through the final clear coat. This can also lead to visible stripes and circular patterns once the concrete dries, ruining the aesthetic.
Goal: Thoroughly clean and etch the concrete sections designated for staining and clear coating.
