How to Build Seat walls & Columns for Landscaping, Ultimate DIY Guide for Backyard landscaping ideas

What happens here

Before placing the final capstones, the excess metal wire rebar cages in the columns must be trimmed. Using a powerful cut-off saw (or bolt cutters for smaller wires), carefully cut the top of the rebar cage so that it sits slightly below the level of the top blocks, allowing the capstone to sit flush. Once trimmed and the cores are filled, place the Belgard capstones on top of the walls and columns. Measure and adjust each capstone to ensure it has an even overhang on all four sides. This attention to detail creates a visually appealing and professionally finished look for your entire retaining wall and column system.

Goal: Finish the top of the walls and columns with aesthetic capstones
