What happens here
For cabinet doors, use a table saw to create a dado (groove) along the inside edges of the frame pieces (rails and stiles). Then, cut a matching tongue on the edge of a thinner plywood panel (e.g., 1/2 inch maple ply) to fit into this groove, creating a sturdy panel door. For drawer faces, the video shows using a Festool Domino jointer to create mortises for domino tenons. Apply wood glue to the mortises and tenons, insert the dominoes, and join the frame pieces around the panel. This method provides strong, precisely aligned joints for the door and drawer face assemblies.
Goal: Fabricate door and drawer faces by either cutting a tongue-and-groove joint or using a domino jointer for precise and strong panel insertion.
