How NOT to run a TLB- tractor, loader, backhoe. Red Flags & Dangerous Mistakes 4 k video

What happens here

Alex drives the TLB on a public road, demonstrating its handling characteristics. The host highlights that TLBs can be 'squirrely' and difficult to stop once they gain speed, due to the heavy weight of the backhoe arm at the rear. Operators must be especially cautious and aware of these tendencies when driving on roads.

Goal: Observe and understand the practical experience of driving a TLB on the road.

[Applause] the next thing we're doing into the road and I'm our site alex is gonna be in the TLB let's get in to Road roading position I honestly don't know what you call it I'm just gonna call it loading position all right Alex we're going to get into roading position okay so when you drive in one of these down the road there's a certain way you kind of want it so because that stinger you got to have a position it doesn't have to be just right but I'm going to show you the wrong way to drive down the road and then everywhere and everything that's not the wrong way is probably okay I'm gonna jump in here because you see how he's leaning over the seat operating the boom control guys do that to dig and that can get them in trouble [Applause] so you noticed how squirrely it it is isn't it pretty squirrely all TL B's are super squirrely when you're driving down the road if you get it you know you start to get some speed up it just it and then all of a sudden kind of just starts going and then it kind of gets away from you doesn't it yeah it's hard to stop yeah so when you guys are driving down the road just be conscious of that because that's just fairly typical 40 lbs maybe not a hundred percent of them but all the ones that I've ever driven gets squirrelly because all that weight in the back end from the stinger they the boom arm in the back that front end just starts going in faster you go the faster it can get too early onions alright we made it so now
