What happens here

This video details the process of producing maple syrup, starting from sap collection in the forest to the final filtering and bottling of the finished product. It covers the use of a reverse osmosis system to concentrate sap, an evaporator to boil it down, and a filter press for clarification. Please note that the content of this video is entirely focused on maple syrup production and does not align with the requested context of 'Lawn & Garden > Wildlife & Eco-Gardening > Pollinator Garden Installation > Pollinator Pathway Creation with Native Plants'.

So, I don't want to under-romanticize or over-romanticize this. It's really interesting. It's really cool, but it's so simple, guys. People have been making maple syrup for decades, centuries. How long What's the history of maple syrup? How long have people been making maple syrup? Hundreds of years. Hundreds of years. The reverse osmosis machine basically splits water. It takes the water and the minerals and separates them. And the sugar. So, you want the sugar and the mineral to go in your concentrate tank that makes sweeter water. So, the water from the reverse osmosis comes out right here. And the cows are tearing it up. What are you guys doing down here? In from the trees, into the filter, from the filter into these filters, and through those filters, this is the RO reverse osmosis system. This is the water that comes out of it, and then it sends it back over to that smaller tank. And then via gravity comes out into that pipe and into the evaporator. Evaporator is multi-chambered. Right. Right. And then at the end uh of these multi-chambers, this is where our maple syrup comes out. So, what we're doing now is we're mixing some of the syrup, which is hot, with a diatomaceous earth, and we're going to run it through the filter press. Oh, man. Look at that. What you got? And that's delicious.
