Freeze-Dry Mushrooms

What happens here

Carefully arrange the cleaned and trimmed shiitake mushroom pieces in a single, even layer on the trays that come with your Harvest Right freeze dryer. Once all trays are loaded, slide them into the freeze dryer's chamber. Close and seal the freeze dryer door, then initiate the freeze-drying process according to the machine's instructions. This process typically runs for several days to completely remove all moisture.

Goal: Dehydrate shiitake mushrooms using a freeze dryer for long-term preservation.
