How Farm Animals Beat the Extreme Heat 🥵
What happens here
The farmer demonstrates a predator deterrent system called 'AirCrow' to protect his chickens from hawks. The device features a solar panel, flashing lights, a speaker, and an inflatable 'wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man' (similar to those seen at car dealerships) that inflates and deflates intermittently. This movement, combined with lights and sounds, scares away predators. He mentions losing 70 chickens to hawks the previous year before installing this device and suggests it can also deter deer from gardens.
Goal: Protect chickens from aerial predators like hawks.
