What happens here
With the palm nailer prepared, position the tip of the tool onto the head of a structural connector nail, making sure the nail is correctly aligned with a pre-drilled hole in the metal connector plate. The video shows the palm nailer being used to secure metal plates (which appear to be hurricane ties) to wooden beams and posts in a framed structure. Apply firm, steady pressure on the tool against the nail and the connector, then press the nailer's contact trigger (or simply press down if it's contact-activated) to initiate the hammering action. The tool will rapidly strike the nail, driving it into the wood. Continue this until the nail head is flush with the connector plate. Repeat the process for all remaining nails on the connector plate, ensuring each nail is fully seated for a strong, secure connection.
Goal: Secure metal connector plates to wood beams.
