Holman Moody is Building The LAST Original Ford GT40 MKII Chassis In The World! (Insane History)

What happens here

The GT40 engine is shown up close, highlighting the intricate 'bundle of snakes' headers. Paul explains these are 180-degree headers, designed to optimize exhaust scavenging by pairing specific cylinders across the engine banks. This unique design contributes to the GT40's distinctive high-pitched sound and enhances power output. The discussion delves into the technical aspects of exhaust tuning and how these headers contribute to the car's performance and iconic auditory signature.

Goal: Illustrate the GT40's engine and explain the functionality of its unique 180-degree headers.
