Identify Damaged PEX Pipe Section

Check this out. He was looking for something. I don't know that he found it, but he ended up taking a sawzaw to a 1- in piece of type apex. I think we just make one slice, put a coupling in there, and call it good. And I'm just going to use my fingernail to scrape away this paint. I do not want to damage this pipe. Oh, as I was getting this bag together, it's funny. I kept thinking, "Oh man, I feel like old Doc Baker, dude." Got all my PEX stuff going on
