He CRUSHED my mailbox...so I built this!

What happens here

Using an orbital sander equipped with various grits of Gator brand sandpaper (80, 180, 220, and 320 grit discs), progressively sand the entire surface of the cedar log. Start with the coarsest grit (80) to remove the outer weathered layer and any imperfections, gradually moving to finer grits to achieve a smooth finish. After sanding, apply a clear Krylon Ultra Hard Interior/Exterior Lacquer spray to seal and protect the wood, enhancing its natural color and grain. Apply multiple coats as needed, allowing for drying time between coats.

Goal: Smooth and protect the cedar log for durability and aesthetics
