Mask the Floor

What happens here

To protect the flooring and achieve a sharp, clean paint line, apply yellow painter's tape along the bottom edge of the baseboard where it meets the floor. Unroll the tape carefully, ensuring it is pressed down evenly. Then, use a plastic putty knife or a similar flat tool to firmly press down the entire length of the tape. This creates a tight seal, preventing paint from bleeding underneath and onto the floor.

Goal: Protect the floor from paint and create a crisp paint line.
