Guess how many yards of concrete. Winner gets a tshirt!

What happens here

After concrete has been poured into the prepared forms, the initial step involves spreading the wet concrete evenly and beginning the rough leveling process. Use a concrete rake or placer to distribute the concrete across the slab area, ensuring it fills the formwork. Simultaneously, or immediately after spreading, use a power screed to begin drawing across the concrete, removing excess material and vibrating the concrete to start compaction. This initial pass helps to establish a consistent surface height.

Goal: Distribute concrete evenly and perform initial leveling across the slab.
