Identify and Harvest Mature Mushrooms

What happens here

Carefully examine the mushrooms on the logs to identify those that are mature and ready for harvest. Look for mushrooms with brown, expanded caps where the gills are visible and the edges are starting to unfurl, rather than being tightly curled under. The presenter demonstrates how to harvest by gently twisting the mushroom at its base to separate it cleanly from the log. Collect the harvested mushrooms in the paper bag. Leave smaller, immature mushrooms to continue growing for future flushes, as shown on a log with very young mushrooms.
