Great Way to Caulk Tub Valve Handle and Cover
What happens here
Apply a thin, even bead of water-cleanup caulk around the entire perimeter of the cover plate where it meets the tile or wall. After applying the caulk, immediately use a damp sponge or a wet finger to smooth out the caulk bead and remove any excess. Follow up with a clean, damp paper towel to wipe off any remaining caulk residue from the cover plate and surrounding tile before it dries. Allow the caulk to set for approximately 12 hours as per product instructions to ensure a proper seal.
Goal: Seal the cover plate and clean up excess caulk
