Good Start-Rough Ending- new job

What happens here

Begin laying the first course of large boulders. Use the Daewoo Solar 75V excavator with the grapple attachment to carefully pick up and position each boulder. The boulders should be set against the compacted trench, ideally not resting directly on the house foundation but close enough to prevent gaps. Tim employs a 'modified basket weave' technique, stacking boulders in a brick-like pattern but also strategically placing 'character stones' to break monotony and add visual interest. Install geo-textile fabric (heavy-duty landscape fabric) behind each course of boulders before backfilling. This fabric prevents soil erosion and helps maintain the integrity of the backfill, while also allowing water to drain.

Goal: Construct the boulder retaining wall using a 'modified basket weave' technique, incorporating geo-textile fabric and backfill.
