Good deeds for neighbors...Ventrac Driveway restoration you have to see to believe!

What happens here

The Power Rake attachment is engaged and used to break up the grass and mix it with the existing gravel on the driveway. The operator drives the Ventrac tractor forward and backward over the driveway, allowing the rotating drum of the Power Rake to churn the surface. The Power Rake is adjusted to a depth of about 2 inches. Driving forward, it collects less material, while backing up, it digs deeper and processes more material, effectively removing the overgrown grass and bringing up the buried gravel. This process creates 'windrows' (ridges) of mixed gravel and grass along the path.

Goal: Remove grass and loosen old gravel on the driveway
