Garage floor coating with the The Idaho Painter! Sanding Torginol mica flakes with my Ekasand.

What happens here

After preparing the floor, two workers proceed to apply the polyaspartic topcoat. One worker pours the pre-mixed polyaspartic resin from a container directly onto the floor in manageable sections, typically working along one edge of the area. Immediately following, the second worker uses a flat squeegee or mop-like applicator to evenly spread the resin across the surface, ensuring complete coverage over the decorative flakes. They work in a coordinated manner, maintaining a 'wet edge' to prevent lap lines and achieve a seamless, glossy finish. The application requires swift and consistent motion due to the fast cure time of polyaspartic coatings. The workers continue to wear safety gloves throughout this step.

Goal: Distribute and spread the polyaspartic resin evenly over the flake floor.
