What happens here
Once the grain-filled surface is perfectly smooth and clean, it's ready for the final paint application. First, apply a uniform coat of high-quality primer using an HVLP spray gun. Primer helps seal the filler, provides excellent adhesion for the topcoat, and further refines the surface. After the primer has dried and been lightly sanded if necessary (following primer manufacturer instructions), apply the final topcoat of your chosen paint color. The video demonstrates spraying the furniture, ensuring even coverage and a smooth, professional-looking finish. Multiple thin coats of paint are preferable to one thick coat to avoid drips and achieve optimal durability and appearance. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including a respirator mask, when spraying paints.
Goal: Conclude the refinishing process by spraying a primer coat, followed by the desired paint topcoat, to achieve a durable and aesthetically pleasing final finish.
