What happens here
With the surface now completely smooth and dust-free, you can proceed to spray paint. Set up a well-ventilated area or a temporary spray booth using plastic sheeting to contain overspray. The video shows the use of an 'Apollo Precision-6 HVLP' system with an 'Atomizer 7700 Gun' for applying paint. Wear a respirator with appropriate cartridges and protective gloves. Apply the paint in thin, even coats, keeping the spray gun moving constantly to avoid drips and uneven coverage. Allow adequate drying time between coats according to the paint manufacturer's instructions. Multiple coats may be necessary to achieve full opacity and a desired depth of color. The result will be a smooth, grain-free finish.
Goal: Apply a smooth, even coat of paint to the furniture using an HVLP spray system.
