What happens here
Once the porch base is prepared and widened, apply a bonding agent or a thin layer of sand (approximately 0.5-1 inch or 1.25-2.5 cm) over the entire surface (existing concrete and new extension). Alternatively, specialized paver pedestals can be used. Lay the Unilock Town Hall pavers directly on this prepared surface, maintaining the desired pattern and joint spacing. Cut pavers as necessary to fit the edges and around columns or other architectural features. Install coping stones or matching paver caps along the newly defined edge of the widened porch, securing them with appropriate masonry adhesive for a finished and elegant look.
Goal: Complete the paver overlay on the porch and finish the edges with coping.
