French Drain Installation
What happens here
Place approximately one inch of 3/4-inch limestone (drain stone) at the bottom of the trench, over the filter fabric. Then, lay a 4-inch diameter perforated drain tube (drain pipe) on top of this stone layer. Once the drain pipe is properly positioned and connected to its discharge point, fill the rest of the trench with the 3/4-inch limestone until it reaches a few inches below the ground level.
Goal: Install the drainage pipe and create the permeable stone layer.
