Forgotten Ford Ranger Farm Truck | Can I get it running?
What happens here
After successfully removing the old starter, the owner heads to the auto parts store. He returns with a new starter motor and a Duralast voltage regulator, as the original one was noted to be 'crusty'. He proceeds with the installation of these new components (the installation process itself is not fully shown in the video). After the new starter and voltage regulator are in place, he attempts to start the truck once more. This time, the engine successfully starts, although it runs rough with a noticeable exhaust leak. He expresses excitement, exclaiming, 'Dad he said he got it running! Yes!' He then notes that the engine is 'missing a little bit' and has a significant 'exhaust leak,' indicating further work may be needed.
Goal: Install new components and get the engine running.
