folks welcome back to the Stony Ridge Farm Channel this is the best of the equip Expo 2024 in Louisville Kentucky let's get on the road and check it out iiss we are with Derek Derek good to meet you brother nice to meet you ER are you product manager for skid loader applications is that what you call this yes okay cuz I used to just call him a bobcat and then everybody's like no it's a skid steer skid loader no it's a bobcat everything's a bobcat but for clarifications for most folks a skid steer is a wheeled unit and a compact Track Loader has tracks correct this is the t66 with a forestry package and you got a forestry cutter on here that's a proprietary Bobcat cutter how many horsepower is this machine uh this machine is 74 horsepower 74 horse does it come standard with the forestry pack uh I guess that's a ballistic door right there tell me about that what is that designed for um so with our forestry attachments you need the extra protection basically so you're not breaking your your door every time you cut down a tree um so you get the thicker glass glass um ultimately giving your operator the best protection from cutting down trees nice so we're going to go around the backside to show some of the cool parts of the uh the cooling system on this is really really Innovative I want to show you guys that tell me about the forestry pack on the rear of this machine these machines in the woods get the snot beat out of them right correct so I see lens covers for our glass we got a backup camera system here you definitely have good visibility all the back especially on a t66 that's going be your best visibility nice so a lot of skid steers that have the forestry back or forestry mulching typee machines you can't see anything out the back so um we got a guard right here inside this this is an additional guard and this is super heavy duty too yep engines right in here easily accessible you can check your fuel water separator right there all of your filters and stuff air filter everything's really accessible and something is this fairly new to Bobcat uh having for this this uh brand or this uh iteration of machine nice you have your hood and cooler that can raise the access as well nice so you can get to all your filters down there and then when you're done just give it a good slam give it a slam okay and then cover and then slam back to go that's a bobcat yeah so my viewers tell me often times what they want bradden here we are mimo Booth right so I want to show you this awesome mimo side by side right here that we can get in and we could scoot around the farm in we're just going to have a blast on this thing Bren I just want to let you know I'm a good sport Braden my friend has been hitting me up about doing a video in the mimo booth for like 4 years now now you've seen the masimo mini Jeep Braden and this is the masimo I don't know what it is side by side so we're in the booth it's here I had the equip Expo we are in the 60 volt Max battery charged homeowner and then over here's commercial so stay stay te we're going to go a look at the commercial stuff you guys have come out with some new blowers so I've got this blower this is a 565 CF M blower these are homeowner grade Yep this has not been released yet this a 750 CFM talk tell me about it let's just talk about it yeah so here so we're going to have our we're going to call this the big brother and the little brother ask uh so we've got the big brother here this is going to be the new 900 CFM blower uh so what we did on this is we actually supercharged the intake here we took the same air system from our old um Turbo Force blower and then integrated that so this is going to be used jet propulsion engine technology a lot of phds went into this to optimize this airflow system to get that 900 CFM boost out of That So Gone are the days of of the days of that honestly too with the battery handheld stuff it's just going to be a pull the trigger and it's ripping uh from there then too we also have a OneTouch boost button so instead of having to hold down the Boost you just click on Boost until you click off so all three of these have the Boost this one is the one that I have on my property right now this is a new one that's coming out 750 CFM a midpoint and this is the mag Daddy of them all which we all know you guys want the mag daddy of them all let's move down to this we've got string trimmers a 17in string trimmer and a 16in string trimmer the basic difference you said between these two besides the color scheme is carbon fiber on the shaft right here and the new string trimmers the residential ones have the commercial heads on them that hold what 17 inches of string 17 ft how many feet of string uh so they hold up to 20 ft of line okay 20 ft of line so the average homeowner is probably not going to burn through that in a year unless they're cutting weeds and brush and briers and stuff yep down here we've got hedge clippers yep so these are going to be the same uh standard hedge clippers that Toro's been running now uh again still 60 volt uh with our nice little flick rotation system in there for vertical and horizontal cutting single battery dual battery you also have this Critter that's come out what about a year ago something like that uh yeah something like that pops into the battery and you've got an inverter right there so you've got plugins and you can charge your phone USB whatever it is you need to charge and then we've got this guy which pretty much is geared toward that Pro suumer or Pro home owner or the pro landscaper that this hangs in their landscape trailer and charges all the time and it holds what six batteries yep six batteries this is your PR grade type stuff and it says Revolution guys look forward to a revolution Mower on the farm very soon we're going to get that Revolution battery powered mower ni super cool so in the revolution you still have uh just a higher grade a longer lasting higher grade of tool here in your hedge clippers is that right yep yep and then these two it's going to feature a slightly longer bar and a wider tooth spacing there as well okay and then your mower your before we move on you got adjustment by the way in the consumer grade so for a tall guy you can adjust it 6 in is that right yep tall so those new string turers are going to have 6 in of telescoping there too nice these are are they the same yep so these are going to be the same we just have two for redundancy here um so this going be the revolution string trimmer uh solid steel shaft design for that extra durability again as we mentioned earlier it's going to be the same string trimmer head down here uh so able to hold that same amount of line uh and then the these are going to offer or feature a 1.2 Kow motor for that be able to power through that thick brass a lot more so we' got the backpack right here so you can run this with a battery popped onto it or you can tether to the backpack the Revolution series backpack and on the back here this is also tethered the lid is Tethered to it if I remember correctly so you can't lose it and then here you can pop two batteries so if you're running all day you can actually hook up basically any Toro attachment any any Toro uh battery powered attachment and run it and here is a backpack with the blower system on it yep so what's the CFM on this 730 at 160 mph Matthew Toro good stuff guys let's go get busy and see something else fun Honda guys you know Honda means quality you know we're huge fans of Hondas on the farm we are with Brian with Honda and there are some exciting announcements that happened today here at the show yes that's correct so just to introduce you we released four new battery lawnmowers and we also released a battery ZTR nice nice so we'll get some footage of all that as we're talking about this uh Brian tell us what we have here we've got four different mowers uh for the home owner and then back to the commercial uh user and I've got two batteries you got a battery in your hand I got a battery in my hand it's got a little indicator this is a 8 amp hour lithium ion and that is 12 hour okay 58 volt maximum these motors take how many batteries I guess tell tell me about it um there's two variations so we have two sets for the hrn it's a single Bay and for the hrx side for the BV is also single Bay but when you get into the be version this takes two batteries and this can take also two batteries so these mowers are set up to run to mow for how long at at full speed I'm sure are they variable speed do they do they get more grunt when they get into deeper grass or how how does that work yeah they do depending on the torque that's required that's necessary for the grass so the torque Curve will change for the motor and adjust but in each case um we offer two variable speed systems and we also two electric drives we got a Honda zero turn I don't know anything about it except for I see electric motors and cooling apparatus on there and there's a suspension system on here that I don't know anything about tell me about it yeah there's a lot of new features here from the Honda um in our booth and we'll kind of go over them kind of quickly for you one of the biggest things is from the transition of what you saw from the lawn mower side we carried over the twin blade design over here to the ZTR okay so underneath you'll see two two new twin blades ni so we have that same kind of quality finish that you're going to that you know from those is also over here very nice now we've got a suspension system here this is a tell me about this yes we have kind of three points for the suspension we have a torsional damper in the front casters and that's to absorb the front shocks um for any Roots masses or any kind of holes you would hit there's also a seat suspension system that's also adjustable and then on the trailing arms on Dual trailing arms we also has a a cushion bumper system on the back of that this is a pre-production model I'm told is that right is this in production already this is not in production yet so this is a very early or late style prototype nice so you guys get a sneak peek at this for the very first time here on the Stony Ridge Farm Channel I think it's really cool man thank you so much you're welcome Toro guys you know T is a big part of the channel and big part of all the equipment that we use on the Stony Ridge Farm channel on the Stony Ridge Farm keeping things mode we got Jared with Toro we have something interesting it's called the Turbo Force power cutter technology and I'm going to let Jared take it away and tell you guys about it as I am van white right here and I'm going to turn the numbers so Josh and I were talking about what what the heck is Turbo Force power cutting technology and really what it is is when you think about the importance of a cutting deck in this industry the reflection of someone's company of their brand of a landscape contractor is showed by the yard and the output of their work so 25 years ago there was a team at Toro that set out to make the perfect cutting deck one guy in particular I talked with him he spent 5 years cutting all different types of grass different conditions wet dry and they would fine-tune every little piece and every little Bend within this deck and the baffles and so after 5 years they finally said you know what we got it and that was a turbo four step de okay so this is again every single angle of it was considered and what's really special about it is when you move it around there's an adjustable baffle now this is just for demonstration purposes here you can't actually move it but this normally enables you to adjust your baffle which is on the inside because some decks are very closed like this would go at this angle so very tight yeah yeah which is good for dry conditions but when you get wet conditions you want to open it up right so you can adjust the the angle of exit from the the grass out shooting out from under the deck is that what you're saying yeah yeah think about like a straw so you fill up your air with lungs and you're going to blow out through that straw right if it's if it's a a small diameter straw you're not going to get much air out of it yeah it's a larger straw you can blow more out of it gotcha so same concept but nobody else has this to where you can adjus in the conditions if it's wet in the morning with Dew you know you can open it up then as it dries out close it down let's say a thunderstorm rolls through you want to open up again you open up you can do this all on the Fly nice that's awesome so a guy just needs to reach down grab that twist it and it moves that gate yep exactly that's really really cool now there's something about this bullnose uh deck right here too is there anything special about what am I looking at here this is really reinforced absolutely so this is one of the toughest front ends in the industry and that enables you you know you run into something which you're going to run into something yeah the only question is right how hard are you going to hit it so with this you'll end up protecting your deck better with this strong bullnose bullnose bumper on the front end nice and a lot of other decks I see just a little well a little Stitch weld a little Stitch weld this is welded all the way through so super Stout so first the overall construction of the deck s gauge high strength steel so as you can see up here it's 33 33% thicker and 75% stronger than your standard 10 gauge steel seen on a lot of decks in this industry next up dual cap your anti scalp rollers what that is you got your anti- scalp rollers here so you're going along your deck isn't bouncing as much scalping is riding the terrain now a lot of people will have just one of these supporting these these rollers we have two super super thick Steel on it cuz you're going to run into stuff with these too yep uh another piece the discharge shoot so when I talked about those guys that were out testing the deck y they also design designed this discharge shoe some of them you run into something they're going to scrape it you think of a base of a tree you're going to cut the bottom of the tree y this is designed so you get optimal grass clippings dispersion okay and also you can run into stuff and that thing's not going to break so Turbo Force deck is what what says hey this is toro and this is full commercial what you guys think all the new Bobcat gear awesome stuff Bobcat's tractor is really really cool hope you guys enjoyed the video at the equip Expo it's just part of what I do year after year after year I always love going to Louisville except for when I get my catalytic converter stolen but that's a story for another day guys thanks so much hit that like button subscribe to the channel i' love to have you back here on the farm with me I got work to do we'll see you next time we got a gentleman let me just restart tell me your name again man so bad Brian you don't forgot your name Matt Matt wish you were shorter these are bigger than mine too hey we're going to wrestle after this right here at Toro Booth Jared n let just go over there from start to finish real quick more on this start to finish aren't you squ old guy that's our little from start to finish start to finish not even trying then you're good bloopers man me me I don't fit in this
