What happens here
Roll out a durable geotextile fabric over the entire compacted subgrade. This fabric acts as a separation layer, preventing the aggregate or sand base from mixing with the underlying soil, which could compromise the stability of the patio over time. Overlap seams by at least 6 inches (15 cm).
Goal: Prevent mixing of base layers with sub-soil
