Install and Compact Sand Base Layer

What happens here

Spread a substantial layer of sand over the geotextile fabric. This sand layer will form the primary structural base for the patio. Use screed boards, possibly with guide rails or string lines, to level the sand uniformly across the entire area. Once leveled, this sand base should be thoroughly compacted with a plate compactor (not explicitly shown after screeding in this fast-paced video, but standard practice) to ensure its density and stability.
