Mask and Protect Surroundings

What happens here

Before beginning any repair or painting, thoroughly mask off the areas surrounding the door that are not to be painted. This involves carefully applying painter's tape to the door frame, hinges, and doorknob, and then using paper or plastic sheeting secured with tape to cover the floor, walls, and any adjacent structures to protect them from paint or Bondo residue. Ensure all masking is tight and secure to prevent overspray or accidental drips.

Goal: Mask off areas around the door with painter's tape and paper/plastic sheeting to protect them from paint and repair materials.
