FasTrim Roller Review. Toy, Tool, or Joke?

What happens here

Chris and John conduct a detailed review of the Fast Trim roller's features. They examine the plastic quality, comparing it to industrial-grade tools from brands like Milwaukee or DeWalt, and express concerns about its durability for professional use. The unique design, including a microfiber roller and a red edge protector designed to keep paint off adjacent surfaces, is discussed. They also note the imperfect cuts on the roller naps themselves, suggesting potential issues with paint application.

Goal: Analyze the Fast Trim roller's components and build quality.

Tools and materials

  • Fast Trim Roller System Fast Trim — The tool undergoing detailed review
  • Microfiber Roller Nap Unspecified — Part of the roller system, examined for quality
  • Red Edge Protector Fast Trim — A key component designed to prevent paint transfer

pole so maybe it works so I think yeah one of the things about this thing is it's supposed to eliminate the need to going up and down ladders and so the reason why it has this dial thing is saying that you got a vaulted ceiling or something like that you can set this thing and an angle like that to run up your say your vaulted ceiling and you hook it to an extension ball now you don't have to get up a ladder and go up there and pin it and so you know as a painter eliminates you going up and down ladders I mean I guess that would be a good thing you know as soon as I grab the thing my first thought is you can't use it in a bucket our typical 2 gallon cutting bucket because it hangs and it touches the bottom of the bucket so it would be all the way in your paint which the system is is you do not want to get you know paint all over the edge of this thing right here this is the part that does the cutting in for you this whole system is supposed to make a perfect cut in without a brush so it is a microfiber roller - so but I think - another thing initially when I first grabbed it in my hand you know it has a professional painter the quality of the plastic I'm going to look at the quality of the product first and go is it gonna be durable enough to last you know in our vans the abuse of being tossed in and out every day being used all the time being stepped on being dropped and the handle on itself this portion of the handle to me is kind of like just maybe a low-grade or admit great plastic ready I wouldn't consider it like that you know Milwaukee or DeWall top type industrial plastic I look inside here and this is where the extension pole screws in and I don't know looks all torn up it's sure what's going on down inside there but you know I'm angry um it's it's very upset down there 50 I'm so I'm kind of worried about it but Excel can screw it on an extension moment maybe that's part of the system maybe it keeps it tight but it is the the wire I guess you would call it is pretty strong that is very strong so you know it's I don't I can't easily break it anything hit on a jumbo mini roller so that's a very good question because can you can you just use these little jumbo naps right here on a regular jumbo roller and not have to use this then you can use a regular cutting bucket that's a good question here's another thing I noticed like the good quality the naps are gonna see you know they're not cut very well and stuff so each one of them I've noticed they've…
