Once the sides are taped, roll the excess plastic sheeting upwards from the bottom of the window to expose the lower part of the frame and the area where a wood sill will be (or already is). Take the blue painter's tape and apply it along the bottom edge, securing the plastic and allowing the tape to slightly overlap onto the wood surface. Run your fingers or a flat tool along all taped edges (top, sides, and bottom) to ensure a complete and tight seal, checking carefully for any holes in the plastic (which can be caused by the hand masker's blade) or gaps in the tape. If any unsealed areas or holes are found, apply an additional piece of tape over them to create a perfect barrier. This meticulous inspection is vital to prevent paint overspray from reaching the glass or the underlying frame, which would be difficult to clean later.

I'm going to tack this down all the way across here. Make sure my corners are all tight. Run my masking down. Just got a splinter like that's why I wear gloves except when I mask. So, there we go. We've got my window pulled tight. Make sure you know nothing, no leaks. You know, if there was a hole or something from your masker right there, the blade put a little hole right there that could cause a leak. All this is sealed good. There we go. We got nice sharp corners. Our window is all masked.
