(5,138 characters)hey folks that fix it guy here and today logan and i are gonna show you how we carve pumpkins right so logan did his first pumpkin carving last night we'll show you that in a little while whenever we go light this bad puppy up and we had a great time huh yeah so join us today as we're going to show you in a few easy steps just how to hook this up can you say come along let's get the fixing you got to look you're going to look up there so come along let's get to fixing [Music] [Applause] we're scared okay the first thing that we found that we really like these are just pumpkin carving knives that we bought at the grocery store right we had bought a pumpkin carving kit before and it worked really well it works a little bit better than using a sharp knife from your kitchen this is definitely a much safer tool as well and plus if you get them a little bit later on in the season or get them last year's model like as soon as halloween is rolling you know most stores mark these down crazy cheap i bought this one for a buck 50 the two that logan have which is they're pretty cool little tools you know they are i'm not taking it don't worry they were like three bucks like a pretty sweet deal so super awesome they're great they're kid-friendly and this is what we're going to be using today okay so first thing we're going to do is we're actually going to cut the top off of this all right we have to get the top cut off in order to get the guts out of it so go ahead logan's going to start it off for us we want to go a little bit bigger because this is long daddy's got to get his arm in there no come out a little bit more no here you really have to come out more like i'm saying you probably want to be out here okay okay here how about i get it over to here and you can cut the rest of the way okay well let me see the box oh here we go so now we're going to crack the top on this bad boy and so this also this was such a big pumpkin that we're actually gonna save some of these seeds and we're gonna hope that this actually will grow for us next year and who knows we might roast some of them as well so then the first thing i like to do is just get the top of this all hooked up and just chop some of the bottom off of that way you got a nice little chunk to work with set that aside then i like to take this and i like to just chop around here gives me a good base for starting to clean some of that out because man there is going to be a lot of guts in this thing and logan fix it he does not like the guts because he threw up one time at preschool sundance sundance used to be his preschool i can't you're gonna have to come over here and look at it if you want to see the guts let's creep you out you got to get all these guts out of there so i kind of just mash them down with the spoon get down in here just start pulling cuts out okay so for step three we're going to draw out our pattern we like to draw out our pattern right so what are we going to do with the guy yeah we're going to do big eyes so hold on let daddy stand up i stand up here and let's just do this the watermelon shaped nose watermelon wedge shaped and round water whoa and now it goes like zigzag zigzag like but as small as that do you want a zigzag okay let's see it don't worry we can fix that not a big deal i can tell you what i'm going to do i don't know we can do that big three mouth oh three miles yeah that'll be fun he'll have a little goatee because logan put a little goatee right there but we'll be able to clean up the mouth section so step four is what coffee carving let's carve are you going to start us off or you want me to carve it you want to do a little carving okay dad's gonna carve [Music] [Applause] so the next thing is to go outside and light these up before we go out and light these up i just want to talk about your options for lighting them up right we typically go with traditional candles but we also have a couple of these led um tea lights i guess they're electric tea lights and they actually change different colors so they make it pretty cool right if you want to make a green one inside here um blue you can make it all different colors i mean we really like the traditional flame but this is definitely kid friendly and this is going to last you a lot longer than a candle okay because it uses with batteries you are correct yes let's do this and you want to do with this one you want to skip the candle today okay so you take this i'll take the pumpkin we'll go set them up okay logan can you explain to everybody your pumpkins scary scary funny surprise surprise scary and scary all right and do you like the red with the new light yes yes yes okay if you guys like the the lights the led little t t lights i will put a link in the description box below um and this is our pumpkins for halloween do you want to say happy halloween and have a safe halloween excellent thank you very much if you guys could please subscribe to the channel click that like button we would really appreciate it we're just trying to help and we hope that we helped you maybe carve an awesome pumpkin and logan says goodbye
