good morning boys and girls we are heading out of the Hampton Inn and we are headed over to one lonely farmers place so stay tuned today gonna have some fun going to a 3,500 acre farm we are in New Jersey where people drive like maniacs so you're sitting on the dashboard right now I want to talk to you a little bit while I Drive we're out on country roads here in New Jersey beautiful beautiful countryside here one lonely farmer has a farm that's 3,500 acres this guy sells a million dollars worth of hay a year this is a huge operation this is a real-deal farmer I'm not sure about the lineage so we're gonna ask him about where his farm came from and you know whether it was passed down from family or how this works and one other thing that we've noticed here in New Jersey that's SuperDuper wonderful these guys up here are keeping the velour factories from the 1980s in business there is a lot of velour here in New Jersey I've really really I'm feeling it I'm feeling the velour I think we may do the van up in velour too and I may get myself and mrs. Stoney Ridge a nice of a lure jogging suit Jersey baby whoo big ol tractor big rigs here guys all right folks we are here with one lonely farmer in West Pandy here in his shop look behind us this guy has an unfathomable amount of toys that I never knew you had I never knew you know I never knew you had all these toys I never knew you had all these buildings all the shop in your videos we really can't see it all we can see is the little square area that Wes is working on or a great big tractor in the field that wes is working on tell me about your farm here how many acres are you farming we're farming well it's a family farm you know but we are farming somewhere so upwards of thirty five hundred acres the farm alone is about 160 acres that's owned and what the lease ground it's between 35 and 37 hundred acres and it is all on hay right now okay we've kind of moved away from corn and soybeans because of the horrible deer situation we got going on up here so guys what I wanted to do today is introduce you if you haven't seen one lonely farmer go check them out there'll be a link right here tell me about the lineage of the farm so you didn't just go out and buy this farm too this farm has been passed down from generation after generation so is your great-great grandfather or your grandfather great my great-great grandparents my great-grandparents I'm not very great come on you're getting a cut many generations back in 1925 my great-grandparents moved here from Mona Ville West Virginia he was a coal miner and I've said this on my channel before but started out I believe mines Inc and say Ohio I'm pretty sure it was Ohio might have been Illinois I'm not sure but then he went to a mining copper in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and then ended up mining coal in Montville West Virginia okay for being trapped twice in the coal in a cave-in and in the coal mines so so is that what kind of drilling - hey maybe I should be a farmer instead of a coal miner because one day I'm gonna get squished well kinda the black lung kind of put the nail in the coffin guys like you know I get the hell out of here before you get them it was starting to come on at that time and they heard that there was good farm ground in New Jersey of all places in the world and that's what got them here cool so passed down from his great-grandfather to his grandfather to his dad and now to him a heritage farm here in New Jersey mainly what you're seeing on Wes's videos is hard work and fixing and repairing daily repairs here on the farm there are just so many things that break and there's so many things that are in need of mechanical work he teaches you well he teaches me with a touch of humor that is only described by going to his channel what this guy is feeling what's in his mind and in his heart I can tell the guy's got a great heart he's a good family man when he's working in this shop and he's beating and banging on stuff you get some no-holds-barred just action I guess if you want to learn about mechanical stuff about the way things work on a farm the reality behind farming the reality behind mowing would you say a million dollars worth of hay per year that's where were that's our goal yeah goal was a million I was just shy last year and I hope I get it this year and that doesn't mean a million dollar profit on a farm that means a million dollars worth the hay bale but how many how much money and equipment do you have sitting around here I mean there 200 300 horsepower tractors I yeah Justin Justin iron I call it iron ears there's two million dollars worth iron here amazing amazing I couldn't I couldn't even imagine what he does and how he finds the time to make youtube videos for you guys to see and I understand his frustration he's got a family he's got a farm he's got to make money he's working deals with other folks selling hay bailing other people's hay and straw I mean just so busy here on the farm and so many I thought I had a lot of projects and a lot of irons in the fire but look at this look at this we're gonna take you around in the next video here tomorrow's video will just be going into wes's toy box and we'll just show you around all these vehicles he's guys Model T's he's got a 30 28 Chevy 28 Model A all these tractor when we're done yeah tell me everything so we're gonna take him around in the next video and show you all these trucks and tractors we're in a beautiful farm in a beautiful setting here in New Jersey and it's just wonderful now there's a guy you said let's address this really quickly there's a guy across the river now what is the guy across the river cuz I don't know what the guy across the river is you don't have the guy across the river so you're gonna have to go to West's channel to figure out who the guy across the river I think anybody that knows me knows who the guys are sir River is and he just got washed down the river the last couple of months so oh I actually feel bad for him so I don't know the guy crossed a river if he's watching us which he more than likely is yeah you know sorry guy across the river for all your bad fortune Wes really does have a good heart guys I just want to take you here today and show you a new farm a new place another youtuber a person that cares about the land and a person that works with the land and works with mechanical things and a great little channel for you to check out so if you get a chance go down check out one lonely farmer there'll be a link in the video description and they'll also be one up here somewhere you can go check them out it's a great channel we've had a great time here on the farm today and we're going to take you around the next video show you all this trucks and just show you what a wonderful place this really is thanks a lot and we'll see you next time on the Stoney Ridge farm all right well like I said if you want to interview Barbara Walters styler if you want this one minute you see that's a problem with me I'm gonna interview anybody that's your job all right whilst you begin a wrench and start working on something or get up in the truck we're gonna go ride the model a he's gonna fire it up rad [Music] [Applause] folks we're gonna go take a drive in a 1931 model a Ford rad think you're fat no it looks like I'm a fat guy does what I'm like when you got a truck like you as fat as he said it I called Teresa is like hey listen do you think you could bring over a couple of shirts I said I got an eyeball them up a little bit because youtube doesn't show very well he can either be way fatter than he is on on camera or thinner sweatshirts you'll need sweatshirt I gotta go I'm gonna send up a you're gonna give me your address and I know I do some sweat that's for sure yeah he's really big we're gonna do another take of this cuz this sucks it doesn't suck it all sucks halfway its second it's second okay what we actually recording well we're recording now but a lot of this stuff gets cut out guys this is the outtake reel this will be the outtakes of this video we've been walking around for two hours and Wes hasn't shut up the whole time he's been talking a whole time
