Install Insulators on Wooden Posts and Use of 'Belly Bands'

Farm Nightmare! (Bored Cattle Caused This?)
What happens here
For wooden fence posts, different types of insulators are used. The presenter shows two methods: zip screws (similar to those used on metal posts) and fencing staples for traditional attachment. He introduces a 'belly band,' which is a black plastic offset insulator with wire loops. This is particularly useful for 'weaning fences' where calves are separated from their mothers, as it prevents cattle from rubbing directly on the woven wire fence, which can stretch and damage it. When using staples, it's crucial not to 'hard staple' the wire (drive the staple in too tightly). Instead, leave some play to allow the wire to expand and contract with temperature changes, preventing the wire from breaking or damaging the fence. He also advises against cutting the tops of wooden posts at an angle or capping them, as rot typically occurs at ground level due to moisture, rendering these practices pointless.
Goal: Securely attach appropriate insulators to wooden posts, including belly bands for weaning fences, while allowing for wire movement.
