FARM FENCING...WOOD POST AND STEEL POST BRACING COMPARED..WELDS AND MORE!
What happens here
After the metal brace is completed, a wooden post brace is constructed for comparison. An 8-foot long wooden post, approximately 6-7 inches in diameter at the small end, is driven into the ground using a Protech Evo post driver until about 4 feet remains above ground. A second wooden post is driven to create the brace. A diagonal brace wire (single-bar wire) is installed between the two posts, and its tension is adjusted using a Gripple Speed Brace tool. The fence wire is also stripped down to prepare for attachment.
Goal: Build a traditional wooden post brace for comparative analysis.
