Final Overview and Judging Criteria

What happens here

After a grueling day of fence building, the host and judges review the completed fence sections. They discuss the judging criteria, which include the quality of the H-braces, the tension and neatness of the wire, and the correct stapling technique (two staples at the top, two at the bottom, and alternating every other line wire, ensuring staples are not driven in too hard to allow wire flexibility). They also acknowledge the extreme rockiness of the soil, which presented significant challenges.
