Simulated Accident Demonstrations

What happens here

The presenter sets up a dramatic demonstration: First, he places the test dummy, 'Safety Joe,' onto the exposed, rotating PTO shaft of the old Ford tractor. The dummy's clothing quickly entangles, and its body is violently thrashed and ripped apart by the spinning shaft and brush hog. Next, he places the dummy onto the protected PTO shaft of the modern TYM tractor. Due to the sleeve, the dummy simply sits on the shaft without getting entangled, showcasing the effectiveness of the safety guard. Finally, the presenter places the remains of 'Safety Joe' into the manure spreader. When the spreader's internal flails are engaged, the dummy's body is shredded into small pieces, vividly illustrating the extreme danger of these components.

Goal: Visually demonstrate the violent and destructive power of unprotected PTOs and manure spreaders.
