get that cleaned up then we'll switch to Skid Loader mode [Music] there we [Music] go those two root BS are married together get that cut looks like we got a couple more trees over there we could one thing I am not is an equipment operating Diva which means I don't believe that there's only one way to do anything I believe there's multiple ways to skin that cat that means there's multiple ways to get a job done I've had my preferred way of doing something and somebody else has come in with something other different way of doing it and I'm like yeah that works too you know the more tools you have in your toolbox the more situations you can when you come across them the more flexible you can be in those situations the better off you are right so I try not to get stuck in any one holding pattern of oh my God you can only do it this way I've heard guys say that I've heard YouTubers say that kind of pisses me off kind of annoys me and doesn't make you mad it's just like yeah you know what let the world know that yeah maybe what you're doing works great but it doesn't mean it it's the only way to do it how many times have we heard that oh it's got to be done this way or it can't be done any other way or if you see it done some other way they're wrong and it's like H I learned long ago that there is no one right way there's just good better best all right let's go haul hike this one over this one really won't be firewood but it's in the way so we'll get her cleaned up we'll just get this spot cleaned up so we can work oh this thumb pretty decent came with the machine I wish it was a little bit wider what I don't like is it only goes down to there that's as far that's as far extended as it is so then I got to bring the bucket up to fully CL now is that a diva thing no it's just an observation we're going to go fire that up in a minute and run it but I can hear you guys saying you're rich you're spoiled I grew up I grew up so poor that in one of the places I lived was a dirt floor my dad used to say we didn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out now think about it you didn't have a pot to take a leak in but you didn't have a window in your place to even toss that pot out that's what that meant that's where we that's where I came from so everything you see me doing on my Channel all this equipment everything it's not that I'm spoiled it's the fact that I earned it by by doing excess above and beyond and I only tell you this because if I can come from that you no matter where you came from no matter what hardship you're facing no matter what you think is impossible if you change your mind you can accomplish anything that I can accomplish or anybody else in this world I only have two hands I only have two eyes one heart lungs I have all the same organs all the same capabilities as you so the programming starts right here the the difference isn't in me I'm not a super special person by any means I am built just like you the difference between those highly Highly Successful People right here it's how they think change the way you think and you will change your world okay super special cuz you are going to ride along right here you are that far in front of my eyes so this is about as good as it gets for view you may Ride Along I mean it' probably be helpful if I actually grabbed the key we actually made a rule in our company because it's so easy to forget keys and everybody forgets keys I don't care who you are you forget something I had one of my project foremen forget to put work boots on one day when he showed up he showed up in I like flipflops or something it happens man you get tired you don't sleep well at night but forgetting Keys sucks when the keys are 20 miles away from where your piece of equipment is so we have a rule where we hide we we started to hide equip the keys on the job site so we always knew where there was Keys no matter what we never had to go run for them so I just got to go grab my Heidi key and we'll be in business all right what we're going to do today just listen to this machine beep at me for about 3 minutes before it decides everything's is okay with it all right so we're just going to temporarily get this road put back in order so the concrete truck can come up and get her fixed so um let's just go for a ride you're not going to be able to hear me well hello Mr [Music] stick I don't think I want to meet you any closer than that so let's make you go away there you [Music] go sticks and branches are more than welcome to stay right in this driveway Zone they actually help Stitch the soil together it's in the nonstructural part of the [Music] [Applause] driveway well like I said you guys we as contractors have some of the best and some of the worst work right we have long hours it's hard work sometimes we work twice as much as what anybody else does but we also have that variety that we talked about earlier but I'm going to end this video my Road's not even close to being done the rains are coming in but I'm going to end it because it it's going to get into that mind numbingly boring portion where all I do is the same move in this machine over and over again for about five or six hours straight back and forth back and forth loading grading hauling contouring wash rinse and repeat and nothing is going to change so that's when fun running equipment turns into work and that's fine it's something that has to be done but I want to hear about what you guys do for a living and tell me about the fun parts of it and tell me about the work parts of it and I hope you guys end up working with good people I hope who you work cuz that makes such a huge difference man when you work with someone that you actually appreciate going to work with or maybe you see a good something in them I would love to hear that cuz that's a huge portion of what we do but that's going to call it for this one you guys God bless and I just want to say thank you for tuning in man I really do appreciate it uh without you guys tuning in and watching I would have never been able to do a quarter of the stuff that I'm doing now so it it helps when I see and then talking to you guys and learning from you guys and having you guys share your experiences and what has worked and what hasn't worked on your own job sites man a Rising tide raises All Ships it's so true and I think when you get around good likeminded people that don't mind sharing the things that they learned it just helps us all become better there are people especially in social media I see it all the time that they don't want to share they they want to look perfect or what have you and I just don't think that benefits anybody so I want to say thank you to you guys for chiming in for tuning in for watching for forgiving me for my mistakes cuz I make mistakes sometimes intentionally I make them and share them and sometimes I I just screw up and I don't even catch it till after it's in the video and you guys see it but you can just tell some of these guys are acting but sometimes I can see where you guys catch them that's huge I want to hear about them sto those stories too but that's it for this one God bless you guys I hope you enjoyed the journey and enjoyed my babblin see you on another
