What happens here

Prior to placing the stair structure, prepare the ground where the stairs will rest. Use post hole diggers to excavate a hole or trench for a concrete footing. This footing provides a stable and level base, preventing the stairs from settling or shifting over time. Ensure the hole is deep enough to extend below the frost line in your region to prevent frost heave.
