good day everybody Hy the Sparky here electrician from New Jersey today I want to talk to you guys about the most important tool that every single electrician whether you're an apprentice a journeyman a Master with your own business should always have a non- cont voltage tester and I'm going to tell you the reason why so true story I was actually at a residential electrical job and we were replacing all the outlets and switches in this customer's home my friend who actually was working on the receptacle he was taking it apart he didn't use his non contact volage tester and he got zapped thankfully and thank God my friend was okay he told me that the zap wasn't bad it just felt like an uneasy feeling in the hand if you're an electrician you know that feeling it's like cheap caffeine like it's not good my biggest advice guys if you're ever working on a circuit and you're taking apart a switch an outlet or anything always just wave around this non- contct tester even when you know there's no current the circuit breaker off it's just for a peace of mind
