Electric Poultry Netting Explained..How does it work? Is it worth the $$$...Will it hold the Goats?
What happens here
Before installing the electric fence, the area where the fence will be placed needs to be mowed to remove tall grass and weeds. This prevents the fence from shorting out. The presenter uses a Stihl brand trimmer (weed eater) to clear a path along the intended fence line. The fence is 150 feet long, and the plan is to create a 75-foot square enclosure for the goats near their existing shack, allowing for rotational grazing.
Goal: Clear vegetation along the fence path to ensure proper electrical function.
