Remove Trimmer Head Components

What happens here

Begin by removing the trimmer head from your weed eater. The presenter demonstrates this on a Stihl FS 131, which has two tabs that need to be pushed in. Once these tabs are depressed, the cover of the trimmer head will pop loose. Set the cover aside in a safe place. Next, press the central button or 'divot' on the exposed internal reel (sometimes called a cartridge) to release it, and carefully pull the reel out. Be aware that there might be a loose spring inside, so handle with care.
