EASIEST WAY TO STRING YOUR WEED EATER
What happens here
Unroll a generous length of new trimmer string from your spool. The presenter recommends approximately 12 to 13 feet. To measure this length without a tape measure, stretch the string between your outstretched arms (each arm's reach is typically 6 feet), making two full arm-span measurements. Cut the string at this point. Next, take the cut piece of string and match its length to a new segment from the spool, cutting a second identical piece. The presenter uses Oregon Magnum Gatorline Square 0.095" (2.4mm) string, which he notes is very strong. He also suggests carrying a multi-tool, like the Gerber Center Drive, for easy cutting.
Goal: Prepare two equal lengths of trimmer string
