Score and Break Stone Veneer

What happens here

Place the stone veneer piece on a stable and flat surface. Identify the desired cut line. Using a hammer (such as a small sledgehammer or club hammer) and a masonry chisel, position the chisel along the marked line. Strike the head of the chisel firmly with the hammer several times. The goal is to score the veneer deeply, creating a weakened line that will eventually cause the piece to break cleanly along that line. Continue striking until the section separates.
