What happens here
Once the stone veneer piece has been initially broken, use a narrower hand chisel to refine the newly created edges. Carefully run the chisel along the cut line, applying gentle pressure, to chip away any rough spots, uneven material, or sharp edges. The goal is to achieve a clean, smooth, and aesthetically pleasing finish on both the main piece and the separated section. This may involve repeating the chiseling action from different angles until the desired edge quality is achieved.
Goal: Smooth and clean the cut edges of the stone veneer.
