Did you ever wonder what these numbers mean on a drill? I got you. So, looking at the top of the drill here, you have a one and a two. The one is low speed, high torque. Two is high speed, low torque. Here you have a hammer function for drilling into concrete or masonry. This one is a screw function, and this adjusts how much torque the drill puts out. Low torque starting at one all the way up to higher torque at 18. Once you switch this over again, you have the essentially drilling function for drill bits or spade bits or whatever the case may be, and this takes the clutch completely out of it. So, this is high torque all the time. So, if you drywall for instance, I'm going to go two, and we'll try it at one. We'll see how that goes. So, this is two and one. Close, but it didn't get them flush. So, I'm going to go ahead, I'm going to move this up to we'll go three. Three seems to be our perfect for what we want. Now, let's say I just want to drill a hole in this block. Put it in two. Drill mode. And it'll eat it'll eat right through that block. Or you don't want to strip out your screws, and you don't want to damage whatever piece you're working on. So, learn how to use your clutch, and you'll never have a problem again. Follow for more.
